INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Point2e.com's Episodic Thoughts for TVB smash hit of 2004, War And Beauty.

This Episodic Thoughts has the same concept as the very first Episodic Thoughts that was for Perish In The Name Of Love. These episodic thoughts, or episodic reviews or you may call them episode summaries with an attitude and a twist (the twist being that it is a summary and also a review of each episode) are written as the reviewer, that is myself is watching this series every night on ASTRO Wah Lai Toi starting from 21.10.2005 9.30pm. So each review is on an episode by episode basis. There will not be any notification of updates, as each night after a series is aired I'll post my review of that particular episode automatically. On the first day of each week, the links to all 5 episodes of the week will be posted but some may be dead links as the review has yet to be posted for that particular episode. Just check back on a daily basis for daily updates, so to speak. At the end of the series there will be a proper review to summarize the whole series and in effect for me to write a final review of the said series which may be very different from my views in these following pages. Just be cautioned; I tend to rant a lot.

Your active participation is most appreciated because I welcome feedback and filling in the holes of missing plots. There may be some days when I may miss an episode, such as on Tuesdays as on Tuesdays my family would watch Desparate Housewives whilst I would watch House MD so there will not be any review for Tuesday's episode. But maybe there may be, so do check this section every Tuesday. If there isn't one, I hope someone would be kind enough to recap the entire episode. To post your feedback and comments, simply click POST A COMMENT at the top of the page and post using your Blogger identity or as Other. Please at the very least write your name somewhere in the post if you're posting as Anonymous. Your comments need not agree with me. Just treat these nightly posts of mine as a discussion of the series as you put your point across as I have put mine. Each review will include perhaps detailed summary of the plot for the episode of the day and my review in terms of plot, continuity and of course, performances. But I am of course more concerned with writing my thoughts as I watch this series. Because of this, I must warn you again; SPOILERS GALORE. Sometimes 100% spoilers so if you have not watched this series and may wish to avoid reading major spoilers, avoid these thoughts.

I thank you for actively posting in each and every episode. Without your active participation, I may feel a bit one sided which is no fun really.
